Cat & the Rat/Recommended Websites

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while.  I’ve been pretty busy at home.  Yesterday we had the Cat & the Rat musical play.  The whole fourth grade, the noon group ( a bunch of fifth-graders that get together during lunchtime and eat lunch in the music room ) , and some fifth-graders from the fifth-grade combo performed.  I was one of th Go-Go dancers.  Kat was one of the beach dancers, Angie was a leader, Melo was the STAR aka the cat, and I’m really ( times infinity ) sorry to Shals, but I forget which part she was playing ( I THINK she was just in the chorus/choir ).  Mrs. H thought 1+1 and Erica were equally good as Rat, so 1+1 performed as Rat in the daytime performance, and Erica performed in the nightime performance.  The nightime performance was in the ice cream social, and after ward we cooled out with relaxing ice cream FOR FREE!  It was a great treat.
While eating our ice cream,   Angie and I went inside the MP room, and Angie recalled a bunch of her favorite songs.  I’m a big scardey-cat, and I didn’t want to play in front of all those people that were helping clean up. or else I guess I would have shared my #1 favorite song too-Ivan Sings by Aram Khachaturian.  It’s slow, but really tricky because you need to play the same notes, but separate them while not lifting your fingers all the way off the keyboard.  Tricky technique.  Then Angie had to go, so I found Kat and we talked for a while.  Then I had to go Frown
so we said good-bye and good-night.  The last thing I’d like to do ( before my mom kicks me off this computer and gets me ready for bed ) is recommend a few websites to you.  I think you should really check out Gaia, Noepets, FurryPaws, clubpenguin, AmericanGirl, and one I DO NOT RECOMMEND which you should NEVER make an account on is Fishland.  It really sucks.  Once I made an account, and got about two junk, completely junk emails each day.  That’s fourteen a week.  And sixty or sixty-two a day.  That is one website I hate.  well, that’s all for now Smile .

Actually Tagged

Whooops!  Ignore that other post.  While writing the title, I accidentally hit enter.  Anyway, we have a tag game going on.  So these are the rules.
   1.  Post these rules.
   2.  Write eight things about yourself.
   3.  Tag 3 others.
Pretty simple.  And now here’s eight things about myself.
   1.  I’m in fourth grade.  For my friend, that’s not very obvious ( people comment like she’s in junior high ).
   2.  People know my dog better than they know me.
   3.  I can type up to 60 WPM sometimes when I’m writing an email or posting.
   4.  I’m half & half.  My mom’s chinese, dad’s American.
   5.  This is kinda like a fact about my friend Kat, but she and Angie (and me ) live in California, NOT Hawaii.  Ask her by commenting on her blog (Just Us), and she might post about it.  I dunno.  Maybe.
   6.   I’ve started another quite unsucsessful blog before, and I think that it’s just so dumb I just won’t mention it at all.  If you’re my friend, you can ask me at school, but I’m not posting the name here.
   7.  Me, Angie, and Shals took the GATE test today, and it was pretty easy, to tell the truth.  Except for the fact that I’m so sick of patterns I never want to even look at one again.
   8.  When I grow up I want to be an archetect, mom, piano teacher, violin teacher, artist, musician, teacher, art teacher, composer, writer, writing teacher, and cook.  I’m not sure if I really can handle all those jobs.
   So that’s eight facts.  Now I tag……………….
   heather
   Lars Arvestad
   and………
Kevin1195 ( The only reason is because I want him to write more Undecided )

Easter

I know it was yesterday, but happy Easter!  On Saturday me and my friends at home had an easter egg hunt Tongue out.  We filled plastic easter eggs with little trinkets and candy, then asked our parents to hide the eggs.  I found seven seven seven seven seven seven 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 seven seven seven seven seven seven( in otherwords, seven ) .  The candy inside was yummy and I had lots of fun spinning my top.  Then, on Sunday, it was Easter!  From the Easter Bunny I got a Littlest Pet Shop keychain game where you can have your own handheld pet, a Littlest Pet Shop vacation set, a stuffed goose wearing a fashionable hat decorated with paper flowers, and another easter egg hunt inside my house.  Inside the extremely large eggs, there were some littlest pet shops.  Inside all the rest of the eggs, there was candy, bubbles, lip gloss, and braclets.  My mom’s birthday was also on easter, so we had a double celebration.  After I opened and played with all my wonderful presents, we went to the beach and I loaded myself with sandollars.  There were so many, I couldn’t believe my eyes!  I was tired by the time we got home.  Nothing special happened today, except that our teacher announced that the GATE test is tommorow *shiver* .  I’m scared because Kat told me it’s really hard.  That’s it. Cool

First Posts

The hardest thing about blogging is the first post. I have no idea what to talk about. Today I added a new thing to my online store. It was a yard sign with a picture of my dog, Milo, on it. Nobody has bought anything yet…..probably because the products are too expensive. But, hey, I don’t decide the prices! Yell at the website cafepress.com for that. Anyway, if you want to check out my store, it’s www.cafepress.com/dogsalive . Pretty boring, but better than nothing. I would write more, but first posts are just so hard to write…………I’ve already racked my brain for this.
